Taking a break but feeling good about my chances for this job :) I mean really good. I'm ready for this thing.

In other news FC...

So I had a great time at FC. A fantastic time really. The drive back, and really to it, is a bit hard and if I ever do it again I think I need to make some better plans with the team. I keep thinking Flagstaff is a halfway point but it really isn't.

But the convention itself is fun in so many ways. I saw a ton of good friends toob, artfulreggie, jakebe, and more I am not sure I can name them all. It is always good to work with confusedoo, fuzzwolf and teirandragon. I stayed with tealfox along with fuzzy and teiran. I got to hang out with the_gneech a bit and he gave me some good advice about living in Washington DC and an offer of local support if I make my way there which I REALLY appreciate.

I ate really well every day and the rooms were so comfortable. I mean really comfortable. the bathrooms were huge and the beds were luxurious. So a happy corgi was I at all of that. Very nice weather too. the dealer's den was run well and we got good foot traffic and sales. But I didn't feel like it was too much.

The big news is that I sold out again. It was a close one with only a few books left on the last day but I still sold out. Smiley and the Hero the new book from toob was the surprise best seller it pretty much evaporated in the first day. I haven't had a chance to read it yet but I hear its a good one so I'd get on that wagon quickly.

So I got to do my sales corgi thing which is always fun. I also saw some good friends and I had a good long talk with Teiran about the sequel and I'm retasking but excited about it. After this interview i'm going to try and really focus on getting the rough draft done by may so art and edits can begin in earnest. So yeah :) great times!

now onto Washington DC and nailing this thing.
