"Spill it, Short Legs!"

The Journal of Zia McCorgi

Zia McCorgi by Cooner
I think 2010 was a good year for me personally.

I mean any year you publish a book and it sells extremely well is a good year. I went to a lot of fun conventions too. Had a great time at all of them when you get down to it. The outpouring of support and praise for my book is a huge ego booster too.

So all that is good ^.^ I've been making some new friends in town. Seeing people. Having fun with board games and friends. I've perfect my bread baking skills and I'm really getting cooking now. I'm good at all sorts of baking and cooking actually and that feels great!

I'm getting better at scrabble too. I've read some great books, had some amazign trips, all around 2010 had some serious pluses.

The downside is the getting fired thing. I'll survive and really that isn't the worst thing in my life. Was there a lot of things outside of my life I disliked, on the national and international stage? yeah but i can't really control that beyond my own sphere. I did what I could and perspective wise a lot of good happened.

So yeah that feels good. Again glee at my book.

Onto 2011

Resolutions: 1) Get a job in my field. 2) finish writing and publish my sequel.

Decade in review
default! vince awesomeness!
2000-2010 what a crazy decade for me. A lot of things happened.

I went to college and graduate school and graduated with honors.

I've lived abroad visiting the UK, Austria, India, China, Italy and Japan(twice).

I've been to several national parks.

I wrote a book and got it published.

I knitted two(2!) tom baker scarves.

I had a really good relationship with a good guy.

I've tried to date and I'm having a good time with that.

I'm in other words really happy in a ten year span I did a lot of things that i thought i'd do over decades. Something I never thought I'd do.

So really a really good decade.
